From Picture hater to memory maker
When I was in kindergarten I told my parents I was going to make art when I grew up and look at me now! This is also around the time I hated getting my picture taken and I didn't grow out of that phase for almost 15 years (sorry mom!). What changed my mind? My husband. And then our first kiddo. And of course our second. But the thing that made me passionate about photographing others? That was my grandma. She passed in 2024, and now she lives in photos where she still shares meals, her home, and her love with our family. After all that personal growth, I've come to realize that joy deserves a place to live forever- in your photos.
My method to the madness
Consider me your behind the scenes coordinator. My experience managing a household with 2 under 2 AND a classroom of 35 middle schoolers (don't forget their parents) is not for the weak. I'm prepared to navigate the dynamics of high energy tiny humans and very involved wedding guests.
Your experience in front of the camera will be judgement free, and full of variety when it comes to your images. We'll be sure to get a few posed shots for holiday or thank you cards, a couple prompted shots that make you look good, and multiple candids that capture the spontaneous moments, of course.
